The Robin Dress

Since rekindling my sewing journey over the past few weeks, the Cape Robin fabric I printed for pillow cases for FEAT. has popped into my head a few times (featured below with our striped knee-highs). I have a few metres left since planning my pillow case run, and I’ve been trying to think about what I could use them for. I really love this print on bedding, but I kept thinking it would look lovely on clothing too… especially this time of year with all the pretty wintery tones out in nature.

Chel Will Sew

From about the age of seven, I loved stitching of all kinds. My mom initially taught me to hand sew and cross-stitch, and then I went on to try my hand at embroidery and even a little machine work on my mom’s old Singer machine. Either way, this concept is one I’ve been exploring a lot lately.

The story behind some of my latest designs

Log cabins, wide vistas, warm wood fires... I was totally inspired by nature and watching the weather change last year. I allowed myself to be transported into a dream getaway destination when designing these socks - and this dream getaway obviously includes a cat curled up beside the fire too. Not only is my new range filled with these dreams, but I thought that the ladies’ knee-highs and men’s extra-length socks would be the perfect way to embrace the winter and cheat the cold, pairing perfectly with your favourite winter boots! I’ve combined these longer-length, stripey socks into combos too, so you can purchase two pairs at a discounted price.
