We try to make delivery as easy and affordable as possible for our customers. We have the following shipping options dependent on your location. Please take note that no matter the collection or shipping method, there is a 1-2 working day processing time for all online orders before they are dispatched/ready for collection.
South Africa – Local Delivery To-Door
We use two courier companies called 'The Courier Guy' and 'PrimeTime Express' for all local deliveries. We charge flat rates for local shipping between R100 and R175 depending on the region you’re based in. Your socks will wing their way directly to your door within 2-6 working days. This option only applies within South African borders and our couriers only operate during working hours (8am-5pm) on weekdays. Please provide us with a detailed delivery address where there will be someone to receive the parcel between these working hours. Please also provide us with your contact details should the courier need to call you on the day of delivery.
South Africa - Collection from the closest locker - PUDO
We have recently partnered with PUDO, to offer you this R65 service to collect your parcel from a locker in the vicinity of your address. When you select this option, you will be sent a PIN code via text message to use to open the locker where your parcel will be safely stored. Please follow the instructions you are set via text message closely. We will endeavor to select a locker as close as possible to your address, but take note that some areas have limited availability.
South Africa – Free Local Delivery
If you are based in South Africa and you place an order of R1000 or more, you qualify for free shipping within South Africa. This free shipping rate will automatically be applied to your cart at check-out. Your parcel will take 2-6 working days to arrive at your door. Please make sure that someone is available to receive your parcel at the assigned delivery address between working hours.
CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE: Local Pick-up: Fish Hoek (Cape Town)
For customers based in Cape Town, we offer a free pick-up option. When selecting this option please bear in mind that we are based in the seaside town of Fish Hoek, along the Southern Peninsula (which is considered remote and far away for some die-hard city dwellers). When your order is packed and ready for collection, you will receive an email notification about the location and pick-up times for your parcel. Collection need to take place within 10 working days and we do not allow weekend or after-hours collections.
We love sending our adventurous little socks across land and sea! We send our international parcels with FedEx, which means your parcel will take 5-8 working days to arrive at your door and we will be able to provide you with a tracking number to track your parcel, should you so wish. The cost of shipping with FedEx is based on the weight of your order and the region you need us to deliver to. Below is a brief breakdown of the fees. :
- Small parcels (0 - 0.5kg) between R250 and R490, depending on your region
- Medium Parcels (0.51 - 1kg) cost between R350 and R550, depending on your region
- Large parcels (1kg+) cost upwards of R580
Luckily, socks are extra light! 1 pair of ladies' socks only weighs 35g, and a men's pair weighs around 55g, so anywhere from 1 to 9 pairs of our largest socks qualifies as a small parcel, which will give you the lowest possible international shipping rate.
*Please take note that these shipping values exclude any duties and fees due on the parcel's arrival in your region. International shipments are subject to duties and fees that vary by country and are based on the value of your order. The amount calculated depends on the destination country's tax and valuation method and are to be paid by the customer.
What happens if my parcel goes missing?
Getting your new favourite pair of socks to you is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, in the event that a parcel goes missing, we acknowledge that it is our responsibility to resend your order to you. For orders within South Africa, if 15 days go by and your parcel has not been received/tracked-down, it will be resent to you at no extra charge. If you are an international customer, and you have not yet received your parcel after 2 weeks, we will resend your order to you at no extra charge. Please be aware that these terms are subject to change, dependent on our courier service providers, but you will be informed of any changes via email upon confirmation of your order.
If a particular style you have ordered has sold out between the time that your order was confirmed, sent and subsequently went missing, please be assured that we will travel across Cape Town visiting all of our retailers to endeavour to source that exact style for you. However, in the event that every last pair has made it’s way to a new home, we will ask you to choose another style in it’s place from our updated sock styles. Please be aware that this is a last resort. We know how disappointing it can be to set your sights on something, only be told you cannot have it.
