Minimum run size:
300 units of one design, these 300 pairs can be split into 150 pairs each of either two colour ways (all one size) OR two sizes (all one colour way).
*Please note that all orders are subject to over or under production of 10%. By placing an order, you are accepting these terms and will be invoiced according to final stock received, not stock quoted on.
Available sizing:
1) UK Size 4–7 (US 5–8, EU 37–40) - which fits most ladies
2) UK Size 8–11 (US 9–12, EU 41–46) - which fits most men
Yarn Composition:
80% cotton, 18% nylon, 2% elastane
Cost per pair:
R59 (ex VAT). This cost excludes the price of custom packaging, if required, and it excludes the cost of sampling.
Lead times:
1) Artwork & Design processing = +-1 week after sampling fee payment
2) Sampling = 3–4 weeks per design. If you would like to sample more than one design, and you’d like to receive all your samples together, you can expect longer lead times. If there has been electrical load shedding just before or during your sampling lead time, please expect delays.
3) Final Production = 6–8 weeks (dependent on yarn availability and load shedding).

Sampling Fee:
R2000 per design. R1500 of this sampling fee is credited from the bulk order invoice, only if a final bulk order is placed.
Payment terms:
1) R2000 sampling fee required upfront before artwork is processed
2) After sample approval, 50% deposit is required on the final bulk order invoice in order to place the final production order. This final bulk invoice will be accompanied by a credit note for R1500 of the sampling fee which will be deducted from the final bulk order total.
3) Remaining 50% payment is required once production is complete and waiting on delivery. Socks are not delivered until the invoice has been paid in full.

Artwork approval:
Feat. will supply the client with an official artwork for their proposed design. The design will be sent to the client over email in pdf format. The client is required to “sign-off” on the proposed artwork via email to move into the sampling phase.
Sampling information:
Once the client has approved the artwork, Feat. will send the artwork to the manufacturer for a physical sample to be produced. Sampling takes +3-4 weeks (load shedding dependent). Once the sample is completed, it will be couriered to the client for approval, or the client is welcome to arrange collection of the sample from our premises at their earliest convenience.
Production approval:
If the client isn't happy with the sample, some changes can be made for re- sampling, otherwise production can go ahead. When the client is happy, they will be invoiced for a 50% deposit to approve and confirm production of their final order and they will be issued a credit note for the R1500 sampling fee that is refunded on confirmation of bulk production. Production will only take place once the 50% deposit is paid.
Product to client:
In +-6-8 weeks’ time (load shedding dependent) when the socks are completed, the client will be sent a second invoice for the remaining 50% payment, and this invoice will also include the delivery fee to their required location. This delivery fee is dependent on area and the size of the order. We will always endeavour to get the best rate possible for our clients, but the client is also welcome to arrange their own collection from our premises at their earliest convenience.

When the final stock is checked by Feat., if fewer or greater quantities are received, you will be invoiced or issued a credit note accordingly.
Design Possibilities:
Design possibilities will be discussed with the client, dependent on what the client is looking for. With sock manufacture, there are certain design restraints which will be discussed with the client. But please bear in mind, that Feat.'s socks have their patterns/pictures knitted into the structure of the sock, and not printed after production, so the sock design will always have a mild “pixelated” quality. Our focus is always on high-quality, wearability and washability, and these aspects will always be considered when processing the design of the sock.
Packaging:
Custom packaging is also possible for custom clients; however, price is dependent on the size of the order and the detail of the packaging design. Please let us know if you'd like our assistance in this regard too, and we will get an appropriate costing for you.
Plain white packaging with a sizing sticker is available at R1 ex VAT per pair (image below).
Alternatively, the socks can be left unpackaged, with the socks folded at the heel, and the toe kimbled with a plastic kimble to the ankle area.
