We are so excited to be collaborating with South African musician, Sho Madjozi, and fine artist, Olivié Keck, on this 'Shoma Djozi' print for two-layer, fabric face masks. This print, featuring an ice-cream, flip-phone, cassette tape, WWE belt, and other fun motifs, is one of two prints done in collaboration between Sho Madjozi, Olivié Keck and FEAT. sock co.
This face mask was designed, printed and hand sewn in Cape Town, South Africa. You can order this mask in two different sizes in the drop-down menu above:
Small: 5-10 years
Medium: Teens and Women
These masks are made from two layers of durable, 100% cotton fabric (380grams altogether). The outer layer is a 100% cotton twill (220 grams) and the inner layer is a 100% African cotton single-jersey knit (160grams) which is lovely and soft to wear. These masks have 6mm black ear elastics which stretch for comfort.
The original artwork for this print was completed with Copicmarker and Ink on Archival Arches - just one of O.K.'s signature mediums. To see more of O.K.'s body of work, click HERE. To see O.K.'s 'Flowers with Powers' mask that she also collaborated with us on, click HERE.
*A note about the print: this digitally printed fabric has been heat-fixed as far as possible, but may fade slightly when washed. Please cold hand wash and iron with a hot iron to preserve the print while still killing germs.
